Description
On September 5th, 2000, workers at the Rover Cowley plant in Oxford left the facility amid negotiations over the company’s future. Photographers and journalists from the local press were present to document the scene. The Press tried to talk to the workers, some of whom were identified as Martin Shirley and Rod Murray. Meanwhile, in the nearby Buil Nose Morris pub, Wally and Noreen Skinner, Hazel Preedey, and Ivor Bridgewater were photographed.
